Florida Shine Select Supplemental Tryouts | September 13 | Apopka, FL

Still looking for the right club lacrosse opportunity for the upcoming season? Florida Shine Select Lacrosse is hosting Supplemental Open Roster Spot Tryouts on September 13 for players interested in joining the program.

Supplemental tryouts will take place from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Northwest Recreation Complex in Apopka, Florida.

With the 2026–2027 season approaching, Florida Shine Select is evaluating players for remaining open roster spots across the program. This is an opportunity for athletes who missed the primary August tryout, recently moved to the area, or are still looking for a club environment that fits their development and competitive goals.

During the evaluation, Shine Select coaches will have an opportunity to see players compete in drills and game-like situations while assessing stick skills, athleticism, lacrosse IQ, effort, communication, and coachability.

Supplemental tryouts are different from the program's primary tryout because many rosters are already taking shape. Coaches will be evaluating players based on the specific openings and needs that remain within each team.

Florida Shine Select emphasizes player development, competitive lacrosse, and creating an environment where athletes can build confidence and continue progressing throughout their club careers.
